What We Do Wednesdays: Helping Others

This week Jack (my 4 1/2 year old) and I have been discussing the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.  Jack felt very sad, and wanted to help.  He decided that he wanted to sell his lino cut cards to donate all the proceeds to help with disaster relief in Japan.

Jack designed and carved a new lino carving for his set of cards, and also used a truck that he had previously carved.  I helped him print the cards and now we have 5 sets (4 cards in each set) ready to be mailed (or picked up if you live near us)!  Check it out and spread the word!

This is a great opportunity to help those in Japan, and also help a little boy understand just how much of a difference one little boy can make!  Great life lesson I say.

If you are interested in purchasing a set of cards here is the Etsy listing:

Lino Cards - 100% of proceeds goes to help Disaster Relief in Japan

or if you are close enough to pick them up you can simply email me!

We'll be making more sets soon!
