Oh and the other day i was informed that my quota for photographs has been reached on the blog and if i want to post more, i'll have to pay for more storage! I deleted some old photos from old blogs that i no longer need.... but a few photos also got deleted from this blog ..... i am not happy with the idea of paying to get more photos on the blog, but i do feel that they are an important part of my posts.
Anyways on to the photos for today!
this is the rec room, or most often the play room. i love our couch, though i need to make some throw cushions for it! I also have to finish the drapes for the other window and put up some art.
this is our spare room, also known as the quiet room. Inside the chest are puzzles and games. This was supposed to be Dylan's room, but the boys are now sharing a room. This room still needs curtains and end tables
this is the book shelf in the quiet room. these are all the books we own, including all the kids books. i am used to having a lot more books around, but this is actually a good number! Oh and beside the bookshelf is my typewriter collection!
this is the closet in the quiet room. This is my craft area. in the clear drawers are paper and kid's art supplies. In the suitcases is my yarn, and all my sewing patterns. Hanging up is all my fabric.
this is the other crafting area in the quiet room (note: this is NOT a craft room). There are paints, and lino carving supplies in the drawers as well as other odds and ends crafty stuff. The empty unit beside the drawers is waiting for some bins from ikea, so i can get my yarn out of those suitcases. Like my glue and tape shelves? They will eventually hold my button collection, sorted by colour in little jars!
this is jack's desk in his room. i want it in the quiet room, but for now it holds jack's dinosaur skeleton collection ... those panels need some art over them!
this is our lego storage in the rec room.sorted by type and/or colour. No more lego please!!
This is a wonderful chalkboard that i finally found a home for!
So as I organize more, I'll post more photos or the house! Hope yo enjoyed a little glimpse into our home as we settle in!
Could you solve your photo storage problem by embedding photos linked from another site like Flickr or Photobucket? :)
