Jack is now learning to ride a two wheeler ... with no training wheels! He's done pretty good so far, going long stretches without Cory hold on. Jack's vocabulary has exploded again, he has been using great words like, "articulating", and starting sentences off with, "oh, speaking of ....." He's also developed a lot more respect for Dylan and is mostly more than happy to help out his little brother when he calls for help. Jack also helps to get him dressed and get his shoes on. Even helps by making oatmeal for the family in the mornings sometimes.
Dylan is talking up a storm. His favorite words right now are "tiny one" and what's Jack doing?". He also does a lot of confirming, like who in the house has hands and who has paws. It goes like this: "Daddy, hand. Mama, hand. Jack, hand, Me, hand, Betty, no hand .... paw! Tilly, no hand .... paw!" All rather amusing to this mama. He's loving digging in the garden this spring, though we aren't actually planting anything yet. We have some seeds started indoor, but with the cold early spring, it's been a slow start.
Cory, poor Cory is working a lot these days. Big projects wrapping up and new ones coming in. Busy is good, but I know he'd love to spend more time with the family. He's getting bak into the "idea" of riding his bike to work and the upcoming summer skimboarding weekends! He's also signed up to play ice hockey, which will be great for him I am sure. I am trying to convince Cory to start building a doll treehouse for the kids, but he's busy planning and concentrating on the ongoing bathroom renos!
So there you have it, that's what all the little (and big) men are up to these spring days!
And what of me? Well crafting of course! Today is a knitting day! I've spent the last few days in my studio space sewing away and it's always more stressful than an easy knitting or crochet project. Also I can knit outside to keep an eye on the wee ones.
