Our Trip Part 2: The Country

After two days in the big city we were ready to head to the farm. This has to be one of our favorite places ever.  Acres and acres of forest, fields and a few big ponds for swimming and fishing!  We also love all the activity of building and creating that happens in and around the barns.

On the first day, Cory's Dad suggested we make a teepee.  So we headed out into the bush where the alders lined the pond and cut down a few for poles.  We loaded them in the truck and headed back to the house to build!  It only took about half an hour and the teepee was up!  Jack and his Grandpa spent hours in there over the course of the weekend!  And as a bonus, we were able to take the poles home, so now I just have to make a canvas cover!
